I was President of the West End Ball Hockey League (based out of Merivale Arena) from 1991 to 2004. I am on the OBBHA team for the fun and exercise quotients which are set at the highest level and create something special for the ball hockey world.

Ball Hockey has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember! Although I played several years of Ice Hockey, Ball Hockey was the sport that resonated with me the most as I continue to play the sport through various leagues, levels and tournaments across Canada and the United States. Sport and Fitness are closely tied to my professional life as well as I have spent over 10 years working in Recreation with the City of Ottawa before moving to the newest Multi-Sport facility in Ottawa – The Rideau Sports Centre. Through my involvement with both Rideau Sports Centre and OBBHA, my goal is to grow the sport and improve it’s accessibility for all ages and levels of play for years to come.
